August 28, 2008
On NC 87 between Burlington and Reidsville, NC.
August 22, 2008
The following five pictures were taken about 30 minutes from each
other.

NC 66 is also known as Route 66 and this building used to house an eatery called
"Cafe on Route 66". This is located northwest of Rural Hall at the NC
66 and Old US 52 split.

Just Plain Country Store...an unusual name but makes good sense.
Intersection of US 311 & 4th Street in Walnut Cove.

The road to nowhere, eh? Madison, NC.
I didn't even know there was a Madison in NC

This picture was inside an elevator in
a motel in Wilkesboro, NC. I liked this
picture and wanted to put it somewhere so
here it is.
January 31, 2008
I knew there was a reason I bring my camera on my work
trips. All 5
pictures below are from our sister state, SC.

See the strawberry?

Now you see the strawberry.

Spring Branch Country Store

These pictures brought to you by...

This was the real reason I stopped....neato, eh?
If you got to know, the first four pictures of January 31st were taken
around Mullins, SC
on US 76 and the last picture is the first picture of
the series, was taken
just west of Marion, SC also on US 76.

This is the first picture of my road trips with my new digital camera
given to me from Mom for one of my birthdays. I've passed by this place
many times and finally snapped this on July 17, 2003 with the
expectation of me to photoshop this photo. As you can see, the
photoshopping hasn't occurred...but only because I haven't found
replacements for the first three tanks yet. The Pepsi tank I've
already found and is on standby waiting for the other three.
If only there were more hours during the day....
